GPU Support
DaDesktop offers GPU support through two methods:
- Physical GPU pass-through (available only in select data centers). This delivers full hardware acceleration because it uses an actual graphics card.
- GPU simulation via LLVM Pipe. This runs seamlessly on any of our Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. However, at present it is not compatible with Windows 10.
If you're uncertain whether your intended application requires a GPU (for instance, Blender does), you may encounter a message like:
"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Installing the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue."
