Recording Management (Beta)

Under a course's Recordings tab, you can now manage all recordings and videos for that page.  This feature is in Beta, and it lets you create Modules, edit and trim videos, and more.

 

Recording Management Button

On the recordings tab, you'll now spot a large blue button on the left labeled "Recording Management".  As you record throughout the course, your recordings will gather on this page and might be tagged as Trainer, Training Room, or Participant.

If you're sure you've made recordings but they aren't showing up yet, click the refresh button next to the "Recording Management" button.

Clicking it opens a new popup window.

From here, you can edit videos by clicking the pencil icon on the one you want to change.

 

To create Modules, just click the (+) icon beneath the Modules box.

After you've created your modules, you can begin moving videos into them.  You can either drag and drop videos

 

 

Or manually assign them as you edit each video.

Video Editing

You can perform basic video editing.  If there are parts of your recording where you're idle or struggling to locate a file, and you'd rather not include them in your demo, just click the scissor icon on the video to make adjustments.

 

That opens an Edit/Cut Recording window where you can scrub through and cut your video.  Once you're satisfied, process the video to render your changes.
